Red Spinel
Red Spinel is a beautiful and rare gemstone known for its deep red colour, which is often mistaken for Ruby. In fact, for centuries, many famous Rubies were actually later discovered to be Red Spinel, including the centrepiece Ruby of the royal crown of England, known as the Black Prince’s Ruby. Although Red Spinel is now more rare than Ruby, it is more affordable due to its relatively lower popularity.
