On Saturday August 20th, LM Gems headed to the mountains for their grand launch. People from all cross Lebanon came together to celebrate with Laura. 

As soon as you enter le Montagnou, gem lovers and enthusiasts were feasting their eyes on gigantesque flower arrangements which were color coded with different gem stones, red for rubies, blue for Aquamarine, green for emerald… and the list goes on. The garden of gem stones! As we like to call it.

At the door, the LM Gems team were giving out gemstones to their guests according to birth months, I can personally assure you that I did not go home empty-handed. I was given an Aquamarine, which is March’s birthstone, its meaning is left for interpretation but I would like to believe it cools negative passions, communication and trust improves because God knows how much I need this.

Drinks and foods were being served on the go, a “wheel of gemstones” was placed conveniently next to the bar. Who doesn’t love a revamped drinking game with a gem theme? And you know what this means; the drinking never stopped.  

Guests were flocking together, potential clients were being introduced to the world of LM Gems, friends and family were everywhere, and Laura, well Laura was not only interacting with the invitees but she was also prepping for her keynote speech. 

A few moments after the sunset, everyone circled around Laura impatiently, eagerly and excitedly listening to her speak. After having welcomed and thanked everyone for joining this unforgettable event, Laura made sure to explain the mission and vision of LM. “Our mission is to provide a personalized, unique and memorable experience for each client by creating a bespoke piece that perfectly complements their story,” said Laura “Our vision is to inspire a new approach to jewelry purchasing by highlighting the uniqueness of each gemstone and its ability to tell a story,” she added. Her speech was nothing but insightful, ground-breaking and sincere. She knew how to pause time and capture the audience, yes there were a few tears shed but also many laughter shared.

As Laura was being embraced, two of her childhood friends gave a heartwarming speech dedicated to her, LM Gems and to her notable future success. Tatiana and Mayda highlighted that “ It’s barely been a year since Laura made that big decision to move back home, and, she’s come a really long way since then”. They have shared her career path and the memories made along the way, and trust me, the best is yet to come. 

As the event drew to a close, hearts were heavy, but minds were brimming with newfound knowledge and inspiration. The LM Gems event wasn’t just an event; it was a journey, a celebration of the wondrous possibilities that the world of gemstones offer. We departed with goody bags of LM Gems insights and jewelry puns, ready to spread the brilliance we had encountered.
